Stephen is an Environmental Sustainability Professional with 5 years of accomplishments and experience in the Federal government, local government and non-profits as well as in the private sector, as a government contractor. He has a diverse set of skills including, GIS, NEPA, ISO 14001, program management, coordination, collaboration and communication.
Since 2017, he has supported the Environment and Energy Branch as the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager remotely as a Federal Contractor for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). In 2021 he was promoted to EMS Manager, overseeing all sustainability programs at TSA. As part of a diverse team, Stephen helps conduct environmental audits, manages the branch‘s sustainability initiatives and implements NEPA reviews.
Stephen earned the Certified Environmental Professional In Training credential in June, 2021 and holds a graduate certificate in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Michigan State and a Master of Public Policy from American University, focusing on climate change and sustainability.
